Hi! I'm Allison.
Some of you might know me as the Allison behind Allison Barnhill Designs or one half of Business by Barnhill. These days, I'm just a mom with teen twins who can drive and don't need my stellar taxi services any longer. So, I have time on my hands that I want to fill it by helping small businesses - the only other love of my life that is not my husband, Tom. Being a virtual assistant gives me the opportunity to experience the joy and rush every business owner feels when they get a new client, meet a goal or just put a big 'ole check mark next to a to-do task. When I say, I've done it all, I mean it...because I have. I can help you get out of the office and back to enjoying life.

Helloooo! I'm Jordan.
If you’ve seen my face before, it’s likely from Netflix’s Big Flower Fight, my parody videos on Tiktok, or the drive-thru line of my local coffee shop. In 2015, I embarked on a mutli-year international solo backpacking adventure that led me to discover a deep love of planning, organizing, time management, and writing (you should see my checklists). I became so passionate, in fact, that I made it my career! My goal is to take your most vexing tasks off your plate, so you can focus on doing things that make you happy. In the end, you’ll be the one doing me the favor (please, let me make a checklist).
Things I love: the color yellow, rom-coms, iced mochas, reading in the park, exploring new places, specialty cocktails…checklists.
Things I could do without: seasonal allergies, hot pockets that are hot on the edges but cold in the middle, rush hour traffic.

First, a virtual assistant is an independent contractor who provides administrative or specialized services to clients while operating outside of the client's office.

As an independent contractor, I'm a more cost effective option for small businesses that need assistance, but can't afford the extra expenses of an in house employee, like benefits and taxes.

To get started, we'll schedule a complimentary consultation where I can learn a little more about your needs. After that meeting, I'll suggest a package that would work best for you. After an extremely short onboarding process, we will schedule a start day and initial meeting to review my role and tasks.
